The executive search process undertaken incorporates the following key components:

  • The Assignment Specification

An Assignment Specification is developed that defines the requirements of the search and creates a specific tailor-made profile of the candidate who best fits the position.

  • Identifying the Candidate

Through market mapping and discreet research leading individuals, outstanding in their field, are identified. If an international search is required our global network of partners is engaged to add their knowledge and contacts.

  • Conducting Interviews

A short-list of interested and qualified candidates is interviewed and evaluated. A detailed report is prepared on those candidates most closely matching the position requirements.

  • Candidate Presentation

Finalist candidates are scheduled for interviews with the client's key decision-makers. Afterwards, we meet in private to discuss the findings and results of those interviews.

  • The Offer Stage

Once a single candidate is identified, detailed reference checks are completed. Slade Partners can assist with negotiations around the final employment and compensation package if desired.

  • Sign Off

Once the successful candidate has accepted our client's offer in writing, we contact unsuccessful candidates and inform them of the decision.

  • Periodic Follow Up and Guarantee

Slade Partners' practice is to follow-up regularly on each successfully placed candidate during the first year of their employment with the client. A replacement guarantee is offered to ensure satisfaction with the appointment.
